Pros and Cons of ROCS Daily Cleansing Pads
Pros: I’ve been using dermatologist-prescribed tretinoin and various facial cleansers for years and still fighting whiteheads on the tops of my cheeks. Once I started using these ROC facial pads, the area almost immediately started becoming unclogged. For the first time in over five years, my cheeks were clear of whiteheads and the rest of my face was smooth feeling as well. My skintone continued to even out as I continued to use it.
Cons: It says it improves skin in just one week, but my skin actually temporarily got worse. One side effect of using the facial cleansing pads is that my the acne on my cheeks briefly got worse as it became unclogged. I actually didn’t mind this because I saw it as a sign that the product was helping to unclog my pores. The other issue that I had was that when I first started using it, I used it daily as it says. After only three days, my face became incredibly dry and even moisturizing cream didn’t touch how dry it was. My cheeks developed lines from being so dry.
Do I recommend this product?
I highly recommend this product! After the first three days of using it daily, I reduced it to once per week and then every other day. For over a year now, I’ve been using these ROC pads every other day and they work incredibly well. My face is smoother, my skintone is more even, and my pores are unclogged.
